SACRAMENTO, CA – Today, the California New Car Dealers Association, the nation’s largest state automobile dealer association, representing more than 1,200 franchised new car dealers throughout California, announced that its members have donated more than $5 million dollars to a number of charities, including more than $4.5 million to California chapters of the American Red Cross.

The distribution of funds comes from what was once the California Motor Car Dealers Employee Benefits Trust.
