It is our intention to be transparent regarding how we collect, use, and safeguard personally identifiable information and other information we collect or provided by you as you peruse our website. Our Organization and the Website

This privacy statement applies to www.cncda.org, which is operated by Technology Integrators, Elk Grove, CA.

The purpose of this website is to provide visitors with a general overview of the California New Car Dealers Association (“CNCDA”), links to websites that are useful for consumers, the CNCDA Scholarship Foundation, and CNCDA’s licensed vendors. Additionally, the website is a valuable resource for our current members as it provides them access to our multiple publications. This section of the website is protected with a specific login and password that is provided to all of our members. These publications include: monthly Bulletins, the Dealer Management Guide, the California Economic Report, the California Auto Outlook Market Report, the F&I Compliance Manual, the Advertising Law Manual, the California Legislative Summary, and the Proposition 65 Compliance Handbook.

Personally Identifiable Information Collected

While we use the information collected on our website to improve the online experience for our visitors through a program called Google Analytics, the CNCDA does not knowingly share any information about your online activities over time and across third-party websites when you use our website. Additionally, the CNCDA does not share your information with any third parties for direct marketing purposes.

In the “Membership” section of the website, CNCDA asks for information of the dealership and/or its current principal, president, and managers. This request comes in the form a printable document for members to complete and submit to the CNCDA using regular postage. The information is not retrieved electronically through the website.

“Do Not Track” Notice

When a “do not track” (DNT) setting is activated on your browser, your browser will send a signal to websites, analytic companies, ad networks, and other web services you may encounter when browsing. Providers of DNT signals do not operate according to common industry-accepted standards, therefore CNCDA does not respond to those signals. Credit Card Information

We use Authorize.net to ensure that your credit card information is secure and the online payment you submit is processed safely and securely. Your credit card information is not stored on our website or in our database.

Refund Policy

Once we have processed your payment, your position at the event or seminar is secured. You will have up to three (3) business days prior to the date the event to request a refund in writing. Once your request has been received, a refund will be generated in the form of a check and mailed to the address we have on file seven (7) to ten (10) business days after the date of the event.

Updates to Privacy Policy

The CNCDA may update our Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes we make and to satisfy any new legal requirements that may arise. If an update is required, a notice will be prominently displayed on our website and we will notify you at least thirty (30) days before the effective date.
