In the late working hours last Friday (February 9), the Third District Court of Appeal reversed a lower court decision that stopped the California Privacy Protection Agency from enforcing the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) until March 29, 2024. This means that the CPRA becomes effective immediately. These regulations will necessitate changes to your cookie banners, privacy policies, vendor agreements, and how you process consumer privacy requests.
