Effective January 1, 2023, a new California law went into effect requiring employers to post the pay scale of each job in any job posting.

Employers with at least 15 workers need to include the pay ranges in job postings and maintain records of that. Employees can also ask for the pay range for their own position, and larger companies (100 or more employees) have to provide more detailed pay data to California’s Civil Rights Department than previously required.

HRHotlink developed an Excel-based tool to enter information regarding each position you might have in the dealership and the tool will automatically generate the proper language and amounts for the pay scales of all positions.

Join us for a Dealer Member-only live training by John Boggs and David Reese of HRHotlink on how to use the tool and set it up for automated use.
