CTD’s primary focus over the past year has been advocacy related to the implementation of the California Air Resources Board’s (CARB) Advanced Clean Trucks (ACT) and Omnibus NOx rules. These two rules dramatically reduce the supply of heavy-duty diesel vehicles in California.

CTD meets with OEMs, CARB staff, and individual CARB board members to review current legislation. CTD also partners with the California Trucking Association (CTA) on efforts to raise awareness of the inventory issues within California’s legislature.
