Monday Afternoon Group Activities

Convention registration includes a Monday afternoon activity. During the registration process you will be able to choose one of the following:

Dana Point Dolphin & Whale Watching

Have an unforgettable afternoon dolphin and whale watching on the waters right outside of Dana Point Harbor. The waters are flourishing with sea life including whales, dolphins, harbor seals, and California sea lions. Dolphins native to the Pacific Coastline are usually spotted within minutes of leaving the harbor. If the dolphins weren’t exciting enough, Orange County visitors are treated to whale watching year round. Over 25,000 giant Grey Whales migrate annually along our coast from December through April, and then we can look forward to seeing the Blue Whales, which are here May through mid November.

Gourmet Box Lunch is included for each guest on board. Please wear “California Casual” attire with layers, a hat and sunscreen.

San Clemente Surf & Suds

San Clemente is home to the Surfing Heritage Culture Center, a museum that houses some of the oldest surf boards to date. Here, you will learn about the evolution of wave riding from the mid 1920’s to present day. This museum is a symbolic center dedicated to the understanding and appreciation of surfing as a sport, lifestyle, and culture. It combines the old Hawaiian feel, with new cutting edge technology showcased in their exciting displays.

Following the tour, you will embark on a craft beer tasting adventure to two of our favorite local spots. San Clemente is home to some of Orange County’s most popular breweries. Sample a variety of high quality artisan beers, while enjoying lunch and an inside look at what the independently owned brew houses in San Clemente offer.

A preset lunch is included for each guest on the tour.

Golf at Monarch Beach Golf Resort

We cordially invite you to join us and play Monarch Beach Golf Links.

Few California golf resort experiences can match the blend of stunning natural beauty and the variety of challenges presented at Monarch Beach Golf Links. Here, along the dramatic bluffs overlooking the Pacific Ocean in Southern California, master golf architect Robert Trent Jones, Jr., has fashioned a one-of-a-kind golf course design – challenging and fair, with views of surf breaks on every hole.

Monarch Beach Golf Links is an intriguing Orange County, CA, layout – one of only a handful of oceanfront golf courses throughout California. With commanding & sweeping views of the sea and beyond, our par-70 championship resort golf course offers an unending variety of play.

Lunch will be provided for each golfer.
